Our Hostplus Cup side were back at home for Round 4 and we clashed with the Burleigh Bears for the first time at our new home of Rugby Park. Our Sunday afternoon encounter was played in less than ideal conditions, with non stop rain throughout our game day. Our Hostplus Cup team overcame this and was able to take the two points in Round 4 against the Bears in a close finish; 30-24. Another strong showing from our team to pick up the win. For Round 4 we had Dolphins front rower Jarrod Wallace named in the team of the week.

8. Jarrod Wallace – Central Queensland Capras
A surprise addition to the Capras pack on Sunday, Wallace was given the challenge to stand up to Burleigh’s forwards in wet and muddy conditions in Rockhampton and that’s just what he did. The Dolphins NRL prop set the standard scored one try, smashed through 141 run metres, got away two offloads and recorded a tackle bust and line break. He also made 23 tackles to help keep the Bears at bay.
