Player Profile: Aaron Teroi
Thu 19 Mar 2026, 7:14 pm

Some players make their mark with flashy moments. Aaron Teroi is the kind who earns it through habits, standards and doing the hard little things right.

His path from Northern Thunder to the international stage with the Cook Islands has been shaped by consistency and a genuine commitment to improving his game. He is the sort of player who values preparation, trusts the fundamentals and understands that every detail matters when it is time to perform. That mindset is exactly what he wants to bring to the Capras this season, with a focus on delivering strong minutes and raising the standard week after week.

One of the proudest moments of Aaron’s career came in the World Cup 9s, lining up against Tonga in a high-level international contest. Away from footy, there is a more relaxed side too. He is into golf, anime and a post-match KFC feed, and has a reputation for being able to fall asleep just about anywhere. Equal parts composed and competitive, Aaron brings plenty to the group both on and off the field.
