The Capras Game Day Hospitality Program provides local school students with industry accreditation, real world experience, and a clear pathway into hospitality employment.
The program is designed for students who are interested in working in the hospitality industry and gaining hands on experience in a live sports environment.
How it works:
- Students register their interest via our online application form
- Capras confirms placements and enrols selected students in an online RSA course (fully funded by Capras)
- Upon completion, students submit their RSA certification to Capras
- Students receive:
- Capras polo
- Game day role specific SOPs (bar service, alcohol sales, customer service, and other activities)
- On the job experience at Capras home games
- After completing a minimum of 3-5 home game volunteer shifts, students receive:
- An official Capras recommendation letter to support future job applications
- Required age 15 years or older
The program supports workforce development, practical learning, and employment readiness while giving students a unique opportunity to be involved in Capras game day operations.
We look forward to offering this new opportunity to school students based in the Central Queensland region.
