The Central Queensland Capras celebrated the achievements of their junior representative program at the 2026 Junior Presentation Night, recognising the outstanding performances, commitment and dedication of players, coaches and staff across the Harvey Norman Under 17 and Under 19 girls, and Cyril Connell Cup and Mal Meninga Cup boys teams.
Held at the Rockhampton Leagues Club, the evening brought together players, families, volunteers and supporters to reflect on the 2026 season. Club representatives acknowledged the contribution of everyone involved in the program before each coaching group shared a season recap and presented their team awards.
Player of the Year honours were awarded to Lara Kamau (Harvey Norman Under 17), Jorgie Mitchell (Harvey Norman Under 19), Cayden Hoare (Cyril Connell Cup) and Jake Symes (Mal Meninga Cup), with Best Forward, Best Back and Coaches’ Awards also presented across each squad.
The night also recognised the Capras players selected in the Queensland Country representative teams, highlighting the continued strength of the club’s junior pathways, while congratulations were extended to Capras coaching staff who earned representative appointments for the Queensland Country and Queensland Emerging programs.
