As the 2025 season wrapped up, the Central Queensland Capras came together at Rockhampton Leagues Club to celebrate the players, families, volunteers, and staff who shaped another memorable year. The Presentation Night shone a light not just on the performances across the grades, but also on the commitment and community spirit that underpin the club’s success.
The evening highlighted both emerging talent and established leaders, with standout achievements across all competitions. Rising star Josie Wogand was recognised in both the Harvey Norman U17s and the BMD Premiership, a testament to her impact across two levels and the strength of the Capras development pathway. At the top tier, fan favourite Nixon Putt claimed a double honour as the Hostplus Cup Players’ Player and Jenny Hilcher Player of the Year, underscoring his influence on and off the field.
From the Lancaster family’s club-wide contributions to the grit of individual award winners, the night reflected the resilience, growth, and shared pride that define the Capras.
