About the Role

The Seating & Security Team Leader coordinates crowd safety, seating compliance, and security operations at Browne Park Stadium on event day. You will oversee a team of seating ushers and work closely with contracted security personnel to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons throughout the event.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Conducting a pre-event briefing with seating ushers and security covering patrol zones, escalation procedures, and expected crowd behaviour
• Confirming patrol zones and warden assignments before gates open
• Identifying high-risk areas and communicating these to security and the Event Manager
• Monitoring crowd behaviour across all seating zones and public areas throughout the event
• Managing intoxicated or disruptive patron behaviour in coordination with security
• Assisting bar staff with RSA compliance by identifying and reporting intoxicated patrons
• Coordinating with on-site police where required
• Leading seating and security personnel during any emergency evacuation under the direction of the Event Manager
• Overseeing safe patron exit and ensuring all incident reports are completed before departure

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in crowd management, security, or a senior usher/supervisor role at a venue or event
• Security industry licence preferred but not mandatory for this supervisory coordination role
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Experience with emergency response procedures and evacuation protocols
