About the Role

The Merchandise Team Leader is responsible for the setup, operation, and pack down of the Capras merchandise area at Browne Park Stadium. You will manage a team of merchandise staff and a roving floater to ensure the stand is presented professionally, stock is managed effectively, and every supporter walks away with the gear they’re after.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Setting up the merchandise stand and ensuring all products are correctly displayed and priced before gates open
  • Conducting a pre-event stock count and testing all POS and EFTPOS equipment
  • Briefing merchandise staff on product knowledge, cash handling, and customer service expectations
  • Supervising staff and the floater to maintain efficient and friendly service throughout the event
  • Monitoring stock levels and managing replenishment during peak periods
  • Deploying the floater for roving merchandise sales in high-traffic areas
  • Completing a post-event stock count and reconciling cash and EFTPOS takings
  • Ensuring all staff timesheets are completed and signed off before close

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in retail, merchandise, or a team leader role
  • Strong cash handling skills and POS experience
  • Energetic and fan-friendly — you’ll be a face of the Capras brand on game day
  • Organised and comfortable managing stock and reconciliation
