About the Role

The Facility & Cleaning Team Leader keeps Browne Park Stadium safe, clean, and presentable for every patron and staff member across the full event day. You will oversee a small cleaning team, conduct regular venue patrols, respond to spills and hygiene issues as they arise, and ensure a thorough post-event clean is completed before lock-up.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Conducting a full venue walk before gate opening to confirm all public areas and amenities are clean and stocked
  • Briefing cleaning staff on their assigned areas and priorities for the event
  • Reporting any pre-existing facility issues, damage, or hazards to the Event Manager
  • Conducting regular patrols of all public areas, concourses, bathrooms, and seating zones throughout the event
  • Responding promptly to spills, waste build-up, and hygiene issues
  • Managing waste collection and bin emptying across the venue
  • Overseeing the full post-event clean of all areas before close
  • Ensuring all staff timesheets are completed and signed off before staff are released

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in cleaning or facilities management, ideally in a public venue or events environment
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate a small team
  • Physical fitness — this role involves a lot of walking and active work throughout the shift
  • Reliable and thorough with a strong eye for cleanliness and safety hazards
