About the Role

Bar Team Leaders are responsible for the setup, operation, and pack down of their designated public bar area at Browne Park Stadium. You will lead a team of bar staff, ensure full RSA compliance throughout service, manage stock and cash, and deliver an efficient and enjoyable bar experience for every patron.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Confirming all bar staff hold a valid RSA certificate prior to service commencing
• Testing POS and EFTPOS systems and allocating cash floats before gates open
• Conducting a pre-event briefing covering RSA obligations, service standards, and escalation procedures
• Enforcing responsible service of alcohol and actively monitoring patron intoxication levels
• Managing queue flow, stock replenishment, and service efficiency during the event
• Recording all incidents and refusals of service accurately
• Coordinating with security when required to manage patron behaviour
• Overseeing cash reconciliation and bar pack down at the conclusion of service
• Ensuring all staff timesheets are completed and signed off before close

What We’re Looking For

• Current RSA certificate (mandatory)
• Experience in bar operations, ideally in a supervisory capacity
• Strong cash handling skills and POS experience
• Ability to manage a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
