About the Role

The Audio & Visual Team Leader is responsible for all AV systems at Browne Park Stadium on event day. Working alongside the scoreboard operator, PA & sound operator, and ground announcer, you will ensure the scoreboard, in-venue screens, and PA systems are all running perfectly — delivering a high-quality broadcast and in-venue experience from the first whistle to the last.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Loading and testing all sponsor content and scheduled slides on the scoreboard and in-venue screens
  • Testing the scoreboard display, game clock, and PA system before gates open
  • Confirming run of show and match scripts with the Ground Announcer
  • Coordinating live stream setup with the game videographer
  • Overseeing scoreboard operation and sponsor content rotations throughout all fixtures
  • Coordinating on-field interview audio and screen content with the Ground Announcer and Operations Manager
  • Monitoring all AV systems throughout the event and responding to any technical issues
  • Managing the emergency PA override procedure if required
  • Executing a full system shutdown and securing all technical assets at the conclusion of the event

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience operating scoreboard systems, PA systems, or AV equipment in a live event environment
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in sport, entertainment, or live broadcast environments highly regarded
  • Calm and methodical under pressure with great attention to detail
